Experience Purpose and Healing...

A Greater Picture
In today’s world, life can feel increasingly chaotic and isolating. The constant exposure to social media and the barrage of information often encourages a cycle of instant gratification, distraction, and avoidance—keeping us from fully facing our experiences, emotions, and relational needs. Unpredictable world events, pressures from work, and the complexity of relationships can make it difficult to feel grounded or truly connected. In this context, having a space to be seen, understood, and supported has perhaps never been more important. Being together and connected—whether in therapy, in relationships, or with ourselves—can become a lifeline, offering clarity, balance, and the possibility for deeper growth.

I believe there is profound power in human connection. Much of what I bring to my work as a therapist comes from my own journey of self-discovery and healing. Through that experience, I have learned how meaningful it can be to have a space where you can speak honestly, reflect deeply, and feel truly understood.

Having grown up overseas in a third-culture environment, I experienced constant change and challenges that shaped my sense of identity and belonging. Moving frequently, navigating family mental health struggles, and witnessing addiction, anxiety, and depression, while also navigating social exclusion and cultural barriers, gave me a firsthand understanding of how complicated life can feel and how isolating it can be when the world doesn’t always see or accept who you are. These experiences inform my work and my belief that healing is possible, even when life feels confusing, overwhelming, or unfair.

I’m also a mom, and I understand firsthand the joys and pressures of family life, parenting, and maintaining a partnership. Balancing personal needs, relationships, and daily responsibilities can be challenging, and I bring this perspective into therapy with empathy and realism. These experiences deepen my understanding of how life’s responsibilities and relational dynamics can affect emotional well-being.

I bring over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents facing trauma, emotional distress, and major life transitions. I previously worked within the Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health, serving in roles including LPS Deputy Conservator, co-therapist in the Expansion Day Treatment Program for adolescents, and School-Based Clinician. I later transitioned to Kaiser Adult Psychiatry, where I was part of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy treatment team, supporting individuals navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges.

My clinical orientation is grounded in psychodynamic and existential psychotherapy, with a strengths-based, person-centered approach. I am trained in a range of evidence-based modalities and tailor my methods to each client’s needs, including EMDR for trauma processing, DBT for emotional regulation, and attachment-focused therapy. Over the years, I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing complex trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, and crises involving suicidality.

I welcome and affirm clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, races, religions, and political beliefs. While my personal faith as a Christian shapes who I am, I do not bring it into sessions unless a client specifically requests it. My focus is always on supporting your experiences, values, and goals, whatever they may be.
Therapy with me is collaborative and exploratory. Together, we examine patterns, unpack emotions, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges—always at a pace that feels manageable for you. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can safely explore your past, understand your present, and gain clarity about your future. I believe that when people are given the space to understand themselves more deeply, healing often becomes the doorway to a more meaningful life.

Becoming a therapist has always felt like a calling. I feel deeply honored to walk alongside people as they make sense of their experiences, heal old wounds, and move toward lives that feel more authentic and aligned. If you feel ready to begin this work, I would be glad to connect with you.
